Ralf Micholt

Ralf Micholt, former President of the Bar, began his career in 1970. Consequently, he has over forty-six years of experience as a lawyer. In addition to his wide-ranging legal knowledge, his many years in practice have seen him specialise in property law, public and private construction law, expropriation law and tenancy law, etc.

Sylvie Micholt

Sylvie Micholt began her career as a trainee lawyer at the Brussels Bar before moving back to her hometown of Bruges.

She possesses a wide range of international experience which has imbued her with a profound sensitivity towards cultural differences. Through her commitment to ‘ordinary’ hard-working people, Micholt has emerged as a passionate expert in human rights, as well as immigration law, international law, family law, civil law and criminal law. She also works as a certified mediator in civil and commercial affairs.

Sylvie Micholt is an active voice in the public debate on the issues surrounding migration and commerce. Her comprehensive knowledge means that she is regularly invited to give presentations and lectures.

She is the proud mother of two daughters, Nikita and Evita.

Ine Lecompte

Ine Lecompte went to Law School at the University of Ghent. In July 2018 she obtained her master. Throughout her studies she developed a great interest for international law and human rights law. These interests, among other things, led her to her thesis conducting research about the issue of race of African-Americans in the case law of the United States Supreme Court.
Ine Lecompte mainly focuses on Foreigners Law.

Education: Master of laws (cum laude) at the University of Ghent (2018).
Bar: Member of the bar of West-Vlaanderen since October 2018.
